The Way You Do

Shooting portraits outdoor is one of my favorite things to do. The challenge of utilizing the environment to enhance the beauty of your model is really fun! I just have to keep in mind – the background should be complimentary to the model and should not introduce any sort of distraction.

Sometimes it’s easier to just blur the background if I find it too distracting. Bokeh, here we go!

Wall shots are also a great choice of mine. It somehow draws the viewer in.

Finally, my favorite of the bunch. I got this by accident (I was just actually testing my exposure here ^_^). I tried to recreate this using another light on the left side of the model but just couldn’t get a better effect. Sometimes the one you get unexpectedly turns out to be the best one!
